OverviewIn Molloy, Malone Dies and The Unnameable, this book seeks to highlight Samuel Beckett's trajectory in composing a narrative known for challenging the limits of representation, emphasising the precariousness of thought and language, which fail in their attempts to grasp the real being of things. In this context, considering that representation is a game that arises from the inarticulable chaos of reality, we draw on Cartesian philosophy and the thought of the Czech-Brazilian philosopher Vilm Flusser about reality and language, in an attempt to highlight the imprecise nature of the Beckettian novel in the face of the word that silences.
