James Floyd Kelly received an English degree from the University of West Florida and an Industrial Engineering degree from Florida State University; he has enjoyed using the skills and knowledge from both in various jobs over the years. He is the author of numerous books, including books on the Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom tablets, building a CNC machine, building and programming LEGO robotics, and using open source software. He currently lives with his wife and two sons in Atlanta, Georgia.
