Dr. Huang is currently appointed as Professor of Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology, President of Children's Hospital of Fudan University, Director of Institute for Pediatric Research, chairman of Department of Pediatrics of Shanghai Medical College, Director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Birth Defects, Vice Chairman of Chinese Pediatric Society, Associate Editor-in Chief of Chinese Journal of Pediatrics. His research interest is focused on pathogenesis, non-invasive technology, early diagnosis and intervention of congenital heart disease, and coronary arterial lesions of Kawasaki disease. He has published over 390 papers including 110 in international journals including The Lancet and European Heart Journal. He has achieved many awards, such as Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, China Medical Science and Technology Award, the Soong Ching-Ling Prize for Pediatric Medicine, and Eve Global Innovation Award of Newborn Foundation at USA, etc.
