Author Information

Paul Yanuziello is a writer, storyteller, musician and martial arts instructor. He began writing and teaching full time in 2017, driven by his love of learning from children. This led to his first children's picture book, Samba on a Snowy Day (2019), which received ravereviews.His books have been translated into two foriegn languages, Brazilian Portuguese and French. When not teaching martial arts, Paul enjoys writing, reading and practicing shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) at his sanctuary near the Blue Mountains in Ontario, Canada.Visit paulyanuziello.com and subscribe to Paul's blog, My Monthly Journal.Other books by Paul include: Samba in Brazil, Samba in Switzerland, Scratchy the Squirrel: A Time for Friends, Life on the Beaver River and Dojo in the Woods, all illustrated by Joshua Miller. Joshua Miller is a published illustrator, art instructor and drawing mentor, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A graduate of Seneca College's Animation Program, he has illustrated seven books for writer Paul Yanuziello, beginning with Samba on a Snowy Day in 2019.Joshua serves as associate director and drawing instructor at the Animation Portfolio Workshop and teaches at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, where he received Honorable Mention as one of the top ten instructors. Through his mentorship, he helps students gain acceptance to leading art schools worldwide.When not teaching, Joshua pursues his passion for sketching and creating illustrations, maintaining an active personal art practice that enriches his work as both artist and educator.
