Larry, the self-appointed Executive Consultant, sees a strategic opportunity: The Quest for the Golden Taco. It's an undefeated arcade cabinet with a ten-million-credit prize. But when Larry jams their last emergency credit into the machine, Sam realizes too late that this isn't a game-it's a Progenitor containment unit. Digitized into a world of four-frame animations and eight-bit tones, Sam and Larry must navigate a landscape of neon-green grass and pixelated bosses. While Sam's high-definition silver arm acts as a ""glitch"" in the system, he must survive a final evaluation against a Mirror-Sam that wants to deallocate the host to ""optimize"" the hardware. In a reality where a memory leak is a death sentence, the only way out is to flood the system with the one thing a perfect machine can't process: Larry's chaotic bureaucracy.
