Have you ever been in a season that feels like it will last forever? Not knowing if this will just be your new ""normal""? Salt Flower liturgies are symbolic for the salt of the Earth and God's ability to plant seeds for flowers that bloom in unexpected places. A pinch of Epsom salt in water, acts as plant food, nourishing the bloom and encourages plants to bud, bloom, and maintain overall health. But, also, salt in higher doses can be used as weed killer. While it strengthens, it can also bring detriment and destruction. Can you trust God when it seems like a painful situation is headed towards destruction instead of restoration? Can you trust God to allow the beautiful blooms to grow with the salt he provides? Just like salt can become bitter, so can our spirits, apart from Jesus. Let God meet you here, in the raw and real, for you to shine his light through this season of suffering. This first book is for seasons of unrest, for when you are weary from things that seem to have no beginning, middle, or end, the liminal space of trusting God with faith as small as a mustard seed. For being in dark places that seem to be so far away from the light. In seasons of darkness, prayer becomes the biggest weapon, so I pray this book can help you unravel the depths of unrest in your own life, to bring it back to the God who knows every hair on your head and every tear you have ever cried. ""You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Emily Kern is a wife to her husband and a mother of one wild boy. She is an avid lover of flowers, poetry, prayers, music, and anything creative to keep her mind busy. As well as anything mental health related. After giving her life to Jesus in 2021, a true divine encounter, her life was forever changed (a story she hopes to share).
