Overview

This story is about a pony who refused to give up despite his little size. His owner told him she didn't want him just because he was small, he left and continued on his adventure until he met someone who would believe in him. Similarly, to the book's author. Shelby Lynn Clements grew up in the Columbus, Ohio area. Her favorite team is the Ohio State Buckeyes. In 1982, she graduated from Hamilton T.W.P. High School after attending Hamilton local school. She worked as a teacher's aide and a playground teacher for two years after high school, and she enjoyed every minute of it. Shelby has cerebral palsy and must push herself to achieve her goals. John Travolta is her favorite actor. She once sent him a material animal from the film Bolt, in which he voiced, and he signed it and returned it to her. She has a dream that one day her goals will come true and that D.Phil. will come to her aid.
