Author Information

Janet K. Carr grew up in Akron, Ohio. She met her husband James Carr, and the two of them took off for Berrien Springs College in Michigan. Ending up back in Ohio and 10 years later, they raised two sons. Janet finished her education at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, with a major in Art plus certification to teach kindergarten through 12th grade. She has spent many years teaching children the joy of art, and she is an accomplished professional artist. When two dogs came into the family, she loved photographing and sketching them. As she observed them, she began to notice their personalities. Janet realized that they were good subjects for children's stories, therefore, Saji and Tibeau were the beginning of her beautifully illustrated Saji and Tibeau adventure books.
