Overview

Saint-Malo revisited is an examination of my interaction with a city I first visited as a student from Ireland in 1973 and after many years returned and settled in a family life mainly passed inside the old walled city. Raising a family and conducting a sucessful business started by my then wife, The establishment of my own studio and gallery to expose my artworks was sucessful until, forced by the demands of life I was forced to wander around many parts of France living two years or more in one place or another. The sea and particularly the atlantic coast of Brittany and Saint-Malo exercised its gravitational pull on me once more and brougt me back to my starting point. This book traceys in watercolour and other media my life in this marvellous place. .
