The world is cold and full of snow, bread is cast upon many waters but few come. Souls die of hunger but they will not feast on the Living Bread that does not die and has no end. Is it that beloved friends and neighbors are satiated with different food? Or are they ignorant of the Divine Bread offered? What do we do to chase them away? Christ became one of us to invite all to the wedding feast so we all might become lovers of God, lovers of mankind and Theophilus. In an age of apostasy perhaps Christians should reflect: 'Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you. A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.'
