Sailing the Caribbean Islands: A Daily Journal

Overview

What's it REALLY like to sail the Caribbean islands? We are frequently asked this question. For two seasons, we've sailed 29 islands in the Caribbean and this book relates our daily adventures. Whether you're an armchair sailor, a lover of adventure in general or you are contemplating sailing down island yourself, we think you will enjoy sharing our many adventures and humorous incidents. And you'll love meeting the cast of characters we've met along the way that can only be found in the Caribbean.

Author Information

Gale and Gerry Bay live in Jamestown, RI and have four children and nine grandchildren between them. Gale and Gerry have sailed since they were children. Prior to WindSong, they owned a Frers 41, Crescendo, which they raced and cruised all over Long Island Sound, Newport, the Cape and the Islands and Maine. Recently, they made the move to a powerboat. They own a Back Cove 29 called Ragtime. While they are sailors at heart, they enjoy the ease and convenience of a powerboat. When not on the boat, Gerry can be found flying radio controlled airplanes. Gale is involved with charitable work and, of course, the grandkids! They maintain a family website, http: //www.channelbells.com and can be reached at: 27 Newport St. Jamestown, RI 02835
