Safarnama - Kaash Aisa Na Hota! is the story of Amit Dixit-a passionate, stubborn young man who never breaks a promise, yet often makes them without thinking, only to suffer the consequences later. In his teenage years, he falls in love with Leena D'Souza, a beautiful girl whose broken family and troubled circumstances stand far away from Amit's simple, middle-class world. Amit is a bright student from a traditional Hindu household, while Leena is trapped in a chaotic life-an alcoholic father, poverty, and a series of emotionally exploitative relationships that slowly damage her reputation.
