Sam Walshaw worked in the greeting card industry for many years. Now, she works full-time as a professional illustrator and author. More recently, children's books she's written and illustrated have been published by Rockpool Children's Books. Little Fairies, Maisey and the Pirates, Lulubell Ladybird and Neandersmall have been published in the US, France, Thailand, Australia, South Africa, and the UK.
