Author Information

STEVEN WALDMAN is a national bestselling author of Founding Faith and a leading national expert on religion in America. Waldman was Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, serving out of the Office of Strategic Planning and co-founder of the multifaith website, Beliefnet. He is an active speaker at forums including The World Economic Forum, The Resurgence of Religion in Politics series at The Carnegie Council, and numerous religious, policy and media conferences. He also has a column for The Wall Street Journal where he covers spirituality and politics, and he has written for Slate, National Review, The Washington Post, The New York Times, the Atlantic, and other publications. David Colacci is an actor and director who has directed and performed in prominent theaters nationwide. His credits include roles from Shakespeare to Albee, as well as extensive work on new plays. As a narrator, he has won numerous Earphones Awards, earned Audie Award nominations, and been included in Best Audio of the Year lists by such publications as Publishers Weekly, AudioFile magazine, and Library Journal. He was a resident actor and director with the Cleveland Play House for eight years and has been artistic director of the Hope Summer Rep Theater since 1992.
