Russian-Canadian Theatrical Community Centre (RCTCC) is the first and only stationary Russian theatre in North America. Founded in 1999 and directed by Nikolay Cherkasov, the theatre promotes stage arts within the Russian Community of Toronto and beyond, with a number of broad-range productions for children and adults. Plays staged by the Theatre include S.Marshak's Lady Cat's Mansion , Swartz's Cinderella and The Dragon , The Musicians from the town of Bremen , Twelve Months , Wit Works Woe by A.S. Griboedov, There was a War Tomorrow by Vasiliev, Funtik's Adventures , Gogol's Revizor , The Nutracker and Buratino . The Russian Youth Theatre's creative team includes Director Nikolay Cherkasov, Music Director Andrey Kartuzov, Assistant Director Valentina Suetova, and Manager Alla Kartuzova.
