Her talent in track earned her a scholarship from the International Olympic Committee to train in the United States. She received an athletic scholarship from the University of Idaho, where she excelled as a distance runner. In 2003, she achieved NCAA D1 All-American status and held the national record in the women's 3000m steeplechase for Zimbabwe, the Big West Conference, and the University of Idaho. She holds B.S. degrees in Marketing and Human Resources Management and a M.S. in Recreation. Her experience as an athlete and coach and her combination of sports and education enables her to make a meaningful impact on athletes and her community. She is a dedicated wife and mother of two.
