OverviewIn 2023, RMFW celebrated forty years of nurturing writers. Very few of the current members had any recollection of our history, the reasons we formed, or how we got from the initial founding to the forty year mark. Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers in 2023 was vastly different from Rocky Mountain Romance Writers (as we originated) yet remarkably the same. We celebrated the amazing journey of RMFW with weekly anniversary articles in the newsletter as well as special blogs, podcasts, and social media posts-all leading to a commemorative book and a special observation at conference! We explored our origins, challenges, growth, and changes as well as spotlighting members who have made an impact and the impact of RMFW on our members.
