Javeria Fahad is a thirteen year old sculler who experiences ambivalent feelings of both excitement and fear while starting boating all on her own, single-handedly for the first time. Being unaccompanied in the mammoth sea is not as much fun as it sounds specially when she observes her surroundings that makes her ponder over lack of proper system and lawlessness in her country. She is undoubtedly a proud Pakistani and thankful to be given so many opportunities as its citizen but at the same time she longs to see it more developed, free, equal for all and fair.
