Jim Cole-Rous was born and raised in Africa, successfully planted 5 new congregations, served in 15 countries as a skilled professional missionary pilot and Flight Instructor. He is now an American citizen by choice, an resides in Missouri. Jim is curious about everything around him, and loves to find out what motivates people to act as they do. He has extensive multi ethnic experience, and is constantly adding to his fund of knowledge of world and biblical history. He has written for publishing in the U.K. and the USA, and his first book, 'God's Honorable Mentions' has received outstanding reviews. His college background and 56 years in ministry prepared him to tackle the research and writing needed to produce books that touch lives and motivate readers to action. Jim lives for today, is active in Digital Publishing and editing, is the Director of Content for Network211, and Managing Editor for the Ozarks Chapter of American Christian Writers. Jim enjoys exercise, keeps himself in good shape regularly visiting the gym. His favorite recreation takes him to the golf links as often as he can find the time for a game. He was happily married for over 50 years, now a widower, he is father to two adult children, and four grand kids. At age 78, many of his friends have asked when he plans to retire. With a straight face he tells them, I was born in 1936, and plan to retire in 2036, unless I find a new project I want to tackle.
