Dipl.-Ing. Hatto Schneider studied general mechanical engineering at the TH Aachen. After working for three years at KFA Jülich in the development of high-speed rotors, he joined Carl Schenk AG, Darmstadt, in the field of balancing machines, where he headed the technical sales department for over 20 years. Today he consults in his field and gives lectures on current balancing problems. Publications on balancing technology and participation in standardisation committees such as VDI, DIN, ISO and SAE show his commitment and competence in this field.
