Author Information

Joe is a retired teacher and has been married to Valerie for 38 years. They raised two boys and now they are helping to raise their granddaughter. Joe used to tell his sons bedtime stories in a dark room lit only by a fire. This story flows from those wonderful moments when the boys would say ""Daddy, tell us a story."" Originally from New England, Joseph Belisle now lives in Southern California with his husband and teenage daughter. He is also the illustrator and author of the children's book ""What if Wilhelmina"", which was named by the Bank Street College of Education as one of the best children's books of 2021.
