Author Information

This is Annie Forrest's first book and she created the character Wizzy whilst playing with her daughter, Reese. The idea for the cuddly creature came from playing games with Reese as a way to encourage her to ask questions and be inquisitive about life around her and encourage creativity. At the heart of the story are the underlying themes of friendship, separation and new beginnings that she captures beautifully in this story. This book demonstrates Annie's ability to instinctively connect with children's emotions that she portrays so well with the help of the loveable Wizzy. Originally from the tropical paradise of Mauritius, Annie has a love of reading, painting and the Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and lives in London.
