OverviewMeet Roscoe: philosopher and quiet provocateur with clear views on society, the state of the world, and man without a home. From the streets of San Francisco, he tells his story in a voice that's raw, irreverent, and piercingly sincere. Through his eyes, we see the world's cruelty and its small mercies-the beatings, the laughter, the forgotten humanity that flickers even in the dark.At its core, this book is an act of witnessing. Roscoe's story unfolds over just twelve hours-a brief but focused glimpse into the life of one unusual man living on the street.Part confession, part social reckoning, Roscoe is a journey through the fractured soul of modern America. At times, brutally honest, then again, funny and deeply moving.Gregor reminds us that even those we no longer see still dream, still feel, and still have something vital to say.
