"Fabrizio Silei, essayist, novelist and story writer for children, was born in Florence, Italy in 1967. He describes himself as a researcher of stories and human events, not forgetting his work on memory and identity as a sociologist. His many works have received accolades, one being a finalist for the UNICEF prize for literature dedicated to the rights of man and children, and another winning the Anderson Prize as the best book in the 9-12 category in 2012. Maurizio Quarello was born in Turin in 1974. He studied graphic design, architecture and illustration, experimenting in the world of publicity and naturalistic painting. He has been illustrating for children's books since 2004. His books have one numerous prizes, both in Italy and abroad. He lives and teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Macerata, Italy. In 2012 he received the Anderson Prize the world of childhood as Illustrator of the Year."""
