Overview

In the world's most celebrated and lyrical love story, the sublime devotion of two young lovers transcends their earthly fate. The noble Veronese houses of Montague and Capulet are locked in a bitter feud. When Romeo (a Montague) and Juliet (a Capulet) fall in love, they are swept up in a series of violent events and cruel twists of fortune. Despite the passion and innocence of their love, they fall victim to the enmity between their families, and their story ends in tragedy. In this production, Romeo is played by Joseph Fiennes and Juliet by Maria Miles. Elizabeth Spriggs is the Nurse.

Copen is a coffee addict living in southern Kentucky with her cats and books. When she's not writing, she enjoys cooking and watching just about everything but romantic comedies (unless there are zombies in them). She's been a film school dropout, a professional puppeteer, and retail rebel, all of which allowed her to develop a cynical sense of humor. She is also an unapologetic nerd and occasional enjoyer of comic books and anime. She is a prolific writer of inclusive, action-oriented urban fantasy, horror, and science fiction. Several of her novels have been Amazon bestsellers. Clive Swift is known the world over for his comic work in the television show Keeping Up Appearances. His career has been based, however, on extensive theatrical work with the RSC and other leading British companies, and in films such as A Passage to India. He is the founder of The Actor's Centre in London. Andrew Wincott is a British actor and Earphones Award-winning narrator. He is most known in radio drama as the voice of Adam Macy in The Archers. He has worked with numerous theater companies throughout the UK. Geoffrey Beevers has worked extensively at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond upon Thames, both as an actor and as an adaptor and director of George Eliot's novel Adam Bede, for which he won a Time Out Award, and Balzac's Père Goriot. David Tennant was appearing on screen before he was even out of school. He appeared in the award-winning BBC TV production of Takin' Over the Asylum. Tennant is an award-winning member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, has guest-starred in multiple television series, and appeared in a number of British films. Playing Doctor Who made Tennant a household name, as well as his portrayal of Barty Crouch Junior in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
