Cassidy is 8 years old. She was inspired to write this book when her mom told Cassidy that April was National Poetry Month (NPM). Cassidy wrote a poem a day and at the end of April started to plan with her mom to write the book you are reading right now. Cassidy wishes to inspire other kids and other people like you to write poems and Cassidy hopes you enjoy this book.
