Homo Faber: Expanding Across Media Rolf Sachs (b. Lausanne, 1955; lives and works in Rome) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice includes sculpture, photography, painting, design, as well as architectural projects and set designs for opera and ballet. The first complete monograph mirrors the multidisciplinary approach by Sachs showing works from the 1990s up until today. The book proposes a non-linear approach, tracing the artist’s oeuvre in a non-chronological way to reveal visual, conceptual, and formal connections.
