He is a highly experienced conference interpreter with over 15 years of professional practice, specializing in translation, interpreting studies, and applied linguistics. With more than a decade of academic experience, Dr. Alaqad has presented at over 50 international conferences and has an extensive publication record in his fields of expertise. He serves on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals and is the founder and CEO of the Asian Federation of Translators and Interpreters (AFTI), based in Malaysia.
