Il est decede a Paris XVe le 8 mars 1980 et est inhume dans le cimetiere ancien d'Asnieres (Hauts-de-Seine). Il debuta tres jeune puisqu'enfant il se produisait aux cotes de Max Linder. Beaucoup de theatre pour: Le Train pour Venise de Louis Verneuil, Les Jours heureux de Claude-Andre Puget, Bichon de Jean de Letraz, La Bonne Soupe de Robert Thomas, Messieurs mon mari, Mon bebe, Il faut marier maman, Une femme par jour, etc. Au cinema, il apparait dans plus de 80 films entre 1932 et 1979.
