Author Information

Author Doug Van Pelt was the founding editor of Heaven's Metal Magazine (aka HM Magazine). Between 1985 and 2013 he published the music magazine covering the Christian hard music scene with worldwide distribution. He continues Heaven's Metal Magazine today with several veteran contributors as a publication website. He has also recorded five albums with his punk band, Lust Control. He lives in Georgetown, Texas, with his wife and children.
