Author Information

Katherine Goode was born in the United States. She attended universities in California and Colorado and taught special education for four years. Then she began writing newspaper articles for the Los Angeles Times and the Santa Monica Evening Outlook. She fell in love with a visiting Australian, Matthew Goode in 1981. They married in 1982 and moved back to Australia. She began writing books and then started a multi-faith program called the Abraham Institute. After serving as director of the program for seventeen years, she retired and began writing books again. Amanda is an award-winning artist living in Adelaide South Australia who has recently Illustrated several children's books for her author friend Katherine Goode. Amanda has won awards including an environmental art prize for her sculpture, painting and printmaking.
