Overview

This is the second book in the series RIVULET OF DARKNESS. It has been two years living on a farm just outside Hanford, California. Something very dark and terrifying has come back. The images and nightmares have become a reality for Robert De Le Cruz, the younger brother of David De Le Cruz. After finding the truth behind David's experiences in the first story, David's brother Robert must now struggle with his own fears. Like David, Robert experiences his own strange manifestation, unaware of what any of it means and what is happening to him. Robert finds himself confronted by something very dark and unnerving. He must face the terrifying nightmares, becoming a struggle between his world and the darkness which surrounds him at night. Something evil is feeding off his anxiety and fears as he finds himself trapped inside his own nightmare. He is haunted by the memories and images, which becomes difficult to escape from. This only forces Robert to constantly be reminded by and overwhelming sadness and fear that never seems to go away. Robert must find a way to stop all of this before it's too late. Robert must now rely on his Aunt Vera, his father's older sister, to help him. Unlike David, Robert struggles to keep himself from becoming lost within the darkness filled with the echoes of disembodied voices. The disembodied voices of those who wait patiently to pass through the Rivulet of Darkness.
