He has published several articles on the history of Middlesbrough, its early twentieth century urban elite and industrial heritage. Having previously worked as History Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, Tosh is currently the Education, Learning and Events Officer at the town's landmark Tees Transporter Bridge.
