River of Ash

Overview

Asher Ganit has returned home to Tiger Bay in Branch County, Georgia. His body has healed from the gunshot wound he sustained in Dogwood, yet his heart remains burdened by grief and loss. When he's not spreading his magical talents across the family's tobacco farm, Asher isolates himself deep in the wildwoods of the Okefenokee Swamp. When the Wesley family arrives during the heat of the South Georgia summer, Asher's uncle, Jacob Ganit, is dealing with the family's most bountiful harvest in decades. Though the land has changed due to Asher's influence, rejections of the family's gifts abound. It will be up to the four Wesley children, assisted by FBI agent Nesta Cross, to mend hearts and navigate the chaos that finds them once again.
