OverviewLiam O'Brien has always been rooted in the wild beauty of County Clare--the rugged coastline, the close-knit family, the ancient rhythms of Irish life... But when tragedy shatters his world in Dublin, he flees to the ends of the earth, certain he'll never feel whole again. Working at a remote mission hospital, surrounded by lush wilderness and the hum of unfamiliar sounds, Liam buries himself in his work. He wants to forget. He wants to disappear. Then he meets Izzy Collier--bold, warm-hearted, and impossible to ignore. A brilliant surgeon at a crossroads in her own life, she sees past Liam's walls to the man underneath. As their lives intertwine, something unexpected stirs: hope. But the shadows of Liam's past aren't finished with him yet. And in a place where the jungle keeps its secrets close, not everyone can be trusted. To protect what they're building, Liam and Izzy will have to fight--for the truth, for each other, and for the chance at a future neither dared to imagine. A sweeping, emotional drama about love, loss, and finding your way back to where you belong. Perfect for fans of Tricia O'Malley and Jean Grainger. Reader review, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ""I won't lie; I cried during this book, but the happy tears definitely outweighed the sad tears... be prepared to fall in love with another one of the O'Brien boys."" Reader review, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Author InformationStacey Reynolds started writing her first novel, Raven of the Sea, in 2015. She was inspired by the beautiful villages of Ireland's west coast--the traditional music, the architecture, the lighthouses, and crumbling ruins. It lit a spark in her that would smolder for years until she was ready. She was a military wife and mother of 5. With a special needs child at home, she began writing at the public library during her son's therapy sessions. Before she married an officer in the Marines, she was a police officer. Her experience in law enforcement aids her in writing from the perspective of a first responder. It also helps with the procedural aspects of some of her stories. She loves what she does. She finds inspiration through traveling, reading, art, and music. She tries to write with the honest and often raw emotions that come from loving and losing.
