Claudio Marengo is the director of the Department of Internal Medicine, Hospital Santa Croce in Moncalieri (Turin, Italy) and director of the Department of Emergency of ASL To5 Piedmont. He has authored more than sixty publications in international and national journals concerning topics of internal medicine, diabetology, and metabolic diseases. He also speaks at training courses, meetings, and congresses. He is a member of the FA DOI (Federazione Associazioni Dirigenti Ospedalieri Internisti), and is a member of the Piedmont Board of Directors and of SIMI (Societa Italiana di Medicina Interna). Marco Comoglio is a specialist in diabetology and glucose metabolism diseases at the Universita di Torino, and is currently I-level manager of diabetology and glucose metabolism diseases of the Department of Diabetology of ASL To5 Piedmont, at Moncalieri. In November 2001 he was elected to the board of directors of AMD (Associazione Medici Diabetologi). He is a member of the Piedmontese study group for diabetes epidemiology. He is the author of articles on diabetology published in national and international journals.
