Overview

Three men from three different time periods of our world meet in a medieval fantasy universe. Sick of coping with amnesia alone in his shack in the forest, Selen journeys south. Beyond the mountains, he discovers that the land of Trevalden has been ravaged by years of war. He meets Louis, an archivist with a sword as sharp as his demeanour and Lissandro, a young seaman fishing for clues about the nightmares they all share. Separated from his companions after an ambush, Lissandro learns that they are to be the gods' pawns in a world that is not even theirs, a game that the New Yorker is not willing to play. Meanwhile, Selen, who just remembered his violent death in the megaron, follows Louis to join the rebellion of misfits that fight the witch king's armies. Whatever his past might have been, Louis is determined to protect his soft-hearted Selen, and lead the oppressed to victory, in the name of concepts he seems the only one to grasp. Around the French, some begin to wonder what that greater good Louis talks about will cost.
