Overview

The water-drake rebellion dies with their leader Khlokun. However, the final battle against the revolutionary's party leaves Ben sorely injured and Sio with one of her key Attributes swapped for a strange power she can barely control. Right as Ben's party obtains their hard-earned victory, a Legion descends upon the Olerrak Marshes, capturing them so Ben can stand trial at the sprawling city of Incos, the capital of the Goldmark Tetrarchy. At Incos, they will need to escape the wrath of the most powerful of Goldmark's institutions, the Accountancy, even as Ben continues to probe the increasing danger of the Book of Poison that his curses tenuously keep at bay. But the dangers of Incos are only matched by the opportunities it offers, and Ben's party will scramble for power and influence at the great living dungeon of the city, the ruins within the mysterious cube that floats above the city as the home for its elite, and the vaunted, cursed relics that lie at the true core of the Tetrarchy.
