Overview

Darius was wondering whom he would take to the junior prom in the spring, what colleges to apply to and if he had enough money to keep his truck gassed up. Tabletop games, hanging out with friends and enjoying life as a teen. He was not expecting that overnight his entire world would be flipped upside down. Trapped with his friends under a defense shield, the adults abandon them to their fate as the temperature drops and gangs vie for control. Darius and his friends find themselves in a hellish kill or be killed world. A world abandoned by adults due to an unknown plague. A world contained by an energy shield, cut off from their families and friends. A world freezing with cold and unrelenting snow. Darius and his friends must now quickly adapt to the Rise of the Shield or be buried under it.
