Never before Rietveld had been asked to design an entire house. Truus Schröder knew exactly what she wanted: simplicity and a space that freed rather than constrained her. She then did a postgraduate course in journalism at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and worked as an editor at NRC from 2006 to 2015.
