OverviewThis artist's book was published for an exhibition at Gladstone Gallery, New York (April 30 - June 18, 2005). It is the second house that Richard Prince has 'done over' (his first was in 1993 - which he worked on for 3 months and then, when the lease was up, the new owners tore it down). The book features photographs of the house, which is set in 80 acres in upstate New York, which he bought in 2003. Prince includes pictures of its contents, 'the yard, out back, across the street, next door, up the road, in the woods, on the property, not far from the house, within a mile of the house, as the crow flies'. All the featured artworks are in the house now or were in the house recently and all the people in the book are neighbours or visiting friends.
