Overview

As a young teen, Joezy is sheltered from the wicked elements of the Detroit streets by his mother. Yet he sees a completely different way of life with each trip to his father's house, where the trappings of fame, money and respect lay. When his older brothers refuse to put him on, Joezy takes matters into his hands, and gets his money on his own terms. As Joezy steps out of the looming shadows of his brothers, Keith and Buck, he finds that mistakes must be made in order to obtain and maintain the fortune he seeks. And what he also discovers, is that the lavish lifestyle comes with pain and heartaches, and the possibilities of losing the ones he loves the most. How far will Joezy go to become a real street legend and will it be worth the power and respect that comes with it.
