She lived in Colombia, Venezuela and England before coming to the U.S. at the age of 11. After graduating from university she married Dick Kinsman, a U.S. Foreign Service officer, and returned to live in Latin American countries for 15+ years.Back in the U.S. with Dick and their three children, Sheila took up painting and poetry after retiring from a career in physical therapy.
