USS Midway Museum library was founded in 2004 and is under the supervision of the curatorial manager. Currently there are 30 volunteers who catalog and summarize library and curatorial materials and do research. The focus of the library is Naval Aviation History, Naval History, USS Midway history, and the preservation of the names and history of the men who served aboard the ship. This book was a cooperative effort of the library volunteers.
