Thomas Knerer und Eva Maria Lang haben sich wahrend ihres Studiums an der TU Munchen kennengelernt. Kurz nach der Wende grundeten sie ihr Buro in Dresden, spater in Munchen. Ihre Kernthemen sind die Beschaftigung mit dem Bauen im Bestand und die Auseinandersetzung mit Form, Funktion und Farbe, sowie dem Selbstverstandnis des Berufsstandes. Thomas Knerer and Eva Maria Lang met while studying at the Technical University of Munich. They founded their office in Dresden shortly after the reunification of Germany, eventually relocating to Munich. Their work engages primarily with the themes of construction in existing building contexts, as well as with the examination of form, function, color, and the architecture profession's perception of itself.
