OverviewThe book revisit the capacity of the late Dr Julius Kambarage Nyerere (He preferred to be called Mwalimu or teacher) in demonstrating his personal achievement under Ubuntu spirit. Dr. Nyerere is among African Ubuntu champions and he practically embraced Ujamaa Model as pert of African Ubuntu. Ujamaa is among the core values of African Ubuntu which simply means African humanism or humanness that represents collective and holistic African ways of life from pre-colonial time to the present. Nyerere rose under the custodian of the chieftainship of his father Nyerere Burito of Abhakibhweege clan that practiced polytheistic and administration of African authority representing other Ubuntu models of admistrations capacitated and influenced Dr. Nyerere to apply such competence and experience in his later socio-economic and political activities.
