Internationally known for developing the emerging field of Investigative Psychology, he has published widely on many aspects of social, environmental and forensic psychology. His book Criminal Shadows (1994) was awarded the Golden Dagger and Anthony Awards for crime non-fiction. He also wrote and presented a six-part TV documentary series on his work in geographical offender profiling, which was later published as his book Mapping Murder (2003). Donna Youngs is a Reader in Psychology at the University of Huddersfield, UK, where she directs the doctoral program in Investigative Psychology. She has published on many aspects of criminality and criminal psychology. Her particular interests are in criminals’ personal narratives and their experiences of crime.
