Author Information

W. Ross Stone, PhD, has been Editor in Chief of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine since its founding in 1990 and was Editor of the predecessor newsletter since 1984. He is currently President of Stoneware Ltd., through which he held the position of Executive Director of the Fund for International Scientific Interchange (1992 1998), which offered scholarships in telecommunications to workers in that field. He consults in telecommunications, radio science, observables control, and other areas. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a Fellow of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and was awarded the IEEE Third Millennium Medal. He is the author of more than 90 journal papers and symposium presentations, over 150 other publications, and 6 books.
