Elizabeth Amann is Professor in the Department of Literary Studies at Ghent University, Belgium. She is the author of Importing Madame Bovary: The Politics of Adultery (Palgrave, 2006).Michael Boyden is chair professor of English at Radboud University Nijmegen.
