The only part of Hershel Landers' life that has any significance is the part that he gave to Christ in his mid-forties, after a life of drug abuse and addiction. Landers left home in his senior year of high school for the military to support his family, as he was the oldest of eight siblings and his father became prominently disabled. He did not realize it at the time, but that choice, or necessity, was by divine guidance and made it possible for five of his siblings to earn BA and master's degrees.The purpose of this bio is to shift the focus from the author of this title to the grace of God, who gave him the content, honor, and ability to pen the message.
